The Scope
The audit covers the entire management system within the scope of certification. It includes a comprehensive review of management system performance over the certification cycle, effectiveness of implemented processes, achievement of objectives, corrective actions, internal audits, management reviews, compliance with applicable requirements, risk management, and continual improvement activities.
The Frequency
Recertification Audits are typically conducted once every three years, prior to the expiry of the certification. Successful completion of the audit results in the renewal of certification for a new certification cycle, subject to continued compliance with the applicable standard and certification requirements.
