The Scope
Organic Food Certification verifies that agricultural products, livestock, processed food products, and trading activities comply with the requirements of organic production standards and regulations. The certification confirms that products are produced, processed, handled, and marketed using approved organic methods, without the use of prohibited substances such as synthetic pesticides, chemical fertilisers, hormones, antibiotics, and genetically modified organisms (GMOs), where applicable.
The certification enables organisations to demonstrate the organic integrity of their products and supports the sale, labeling, and marketing of products as organic in local and international markets.
