The Scope
JAWDA Data Certification (JDC) verifies the quality, accuracy, completeness, and reliability of clinical and healthcare data submitted by healthcare providers within the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The certification evaluates the validity of Key Performance Indicator (KPI) quality data and clinical coded data to support regulatory monitoring, reimbursement, research, statistical analysis, and healthcare quality improvement initiatives.
The certification aims to strengthen healthcare data governance, improve coding quality standards, enhance transparency among healthcare stakeholders, and support the delivery of high-quality healthcare services in line with the objectives of the Department of Health (DoH) Abu Dhabi.
The Standard
JAWDA Data Certification is conducted in accordance with the requirements and quality framework established by the Department of Health (DoH) – Abu Dhabi under the JAWDA Programme.
